What should we wear for our session?
Think cozy, simple and true to you. Neutral tones, soft textures, and clothes you can move and snuggle in work beautifully. Avoid big logos or super bright colors, and aim for outfits that feel like they belong together without being too matchy - matchy. Bare feet are always welcome. Most importantly - wear something that makes you feel comfortable and like yourself.

Can we customize a package?
Yes, absolutely! I'm all about creating a session that fits you. Whether it's timing, location, or you want to schedule multiple sessions to capture different milestones - like a growing belly, a newborn snuggle, or a first birthday - we can customize a package to suit your needs. Just reach out and let's chat - I'd love to make something beautiful together.

How does the booking process work?
To secure your date, a 50% retainer is required at the time of booking. If needed, we will schedule a quick call to align on your vision, preferences, and finalize the details. The remaining balance is due by the day of the shoot, and payments can be made via bank transfer or Venmo. After the session, you’ll receive a curated gallery where you can select the number of high-resolution images included in your package. Love more than you expected? No problem - additional images will be available for purchase so you can keep every moment that matters ($20 each).

Does my home need to be spotless for the session?

Absolutely not! We know that life with kids in NYC often means delightful chaos - tiny socks in unexpected places, snack trails, and impromptu pillow forts. Your home doesn’t need to be spotless for your session; in fact, we want to capture the real, cozy, love-filled mess of everyday life. These are the moments that make your story unique - and that’s exactly what we’re here to photograph.
Your final gallery will be ready within 2 to 3 weeks after our session. I take time to carefully edit each image - adjusting light, color, and tone - to reflect the true feeling of the moment. This is different from retouching, which involves more detailed changes like skin smoothing or object removal. I focus on honest natural editing that celebrates the beauty of real life.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let me know as soon as possible. The 50% retainer is non-refundable, as it reserves your date and time. However, I’m happy to reschedule your session once at no additional cost if you give at least 48 hours’ notice. For cancellations or rescheduling with less than 48 hours’ notice, a new retainer may be required to book a new date. I understand that life happens, and I’ll always do my best to accommodate where I can.
Yes and yes! I truly value my returning clients, so I’m happy to offer a 10% discount as a thank-you for your continued support. It’s such a blessing to meet little ones after a maternity session or to come back and capture those first smiles, steps, and milestones - it means so much to grow with your family’s story. And for gift vouchers, just submit a request through my contact form specifying that this is for a gift.
Not just yet! Film is something I currently keep as a little personal ritual for my own family — slowing down, embracing the imperfections, and capturing the in-between moments just for us. I’ve had a few families ask about it lately, though, so… never say never. Maybe one day I’ll bring a little film magic into my sessions too.
